A timeless parable that spawns from an insignificant incident, blown out of proportion by the story’s characters, a bespoke screwball comedy that turns to drama, a satire of the identity issues that sizzle beneath the surface of modern Cypriot society.

The comedy is mostly observational, through Skevos’ pivot standing point we witness the chaotic, destabilized and fractured microcosm of Cyprus life. A never-ending village election, a fierce political rivalry, an abnormal buffer zone wrangle, various “foreign” military presences, a general dispute over ownership and a cultivated fatalistic tolerance.
